Archivist Ian Willsher started his business, Papers Past, in March 1981.
Until then Libraries and Universities had to keep the Daily Newspapers for reference in massive Bound Volumes, when Microfilm was invented the volumes were sold off just at the time Papers Past were looking to buy.
Over the years Ian bought 200 tons of Original Editions of The Times Newspaper!
Now he and his son, Sam, take orders for specific dated editions of "The Times" and retrieve them from their archive, gift pack them and post them off.
Ian and Sam love to solve peoples gift buying problems and work hard to exceed customer expectations.
